White Trash

Yes, I guess this makes us official white trash. I pulled up to the house after running errands and found this in the front yard! Can't leave Richard and Daniel home alone any more. No telling what we'll find next...

I guess I should say the whole story, RIchards parents got a new sectional, we got their big blue chair that Elise and I always sleep in when we're there. So our little couch we've had for 12 years got ousted, kicked to the curb. I'm not sure what will become of it, but it can't stay where it's at! And where the new blue chair is sitting, the front door won't even close, and we can't walk around the coffee table. ELise and I love the chair, we will just have to scootch stuff around.

Famous Daves

Richards cousins Nikki and Jackie came to visit from Hawaii, he hasn't seen them in appx 15 years, so we all went out to Famous Daves for dinner. As always good food! Plus we got to hear some of the stories from when they were little growing up together. Yes, a short blog toight, I'm tired. But I wanted to put the pitures up.

My game at Sand Hill in Belfare.

I had my first softball game today.

((Werre the Blue Devils))

The first one was good.
I'm not sure how much we lost by,
But we did lose.
There was an incedednt where I was gonna be catcher,
So becasue i wasn't gonna be up at bat for a few people,
I got the catcher gear on.
And for those of you who dont know what that consits of,
Its shingaurds that go to your knees and strap ever two inches,
A chest protecter that buckles in the sideish back area,
And a mask.
I got all of it on...
And I had to go up to bat,
And the girl stuck out,
And the ump messed up and said it was three outs,
Well,
It wasn't.
So I had to go to bat,
Take off all the gear,
And the second i took it all off,
The ump said it was three outs.
So i had to put it all on,
Then my coach talked to the ump,
And apperently it was only two outs,
So i put all the gear BACK on.
Then guess what?
I had to take it off.

Thats how the first game went.

The second game was good,
Lost be I think only two:)

We're home!

After 9 days sleeping in the car or on an air mattress, we're home! Yae! I'm glad we went, but it is always nice to be home. So check out our pics. I know i didn't take too many, but a lot of the time it seemed inappropriate with everyone dealing with a lot of emotions.

Arizona

I've tried to take lots of pics, but I didn't bring the cable for my camera. So I'll post them all when I get home. I did take a pic with my camera of Grandpa's memorial service picture. The service was wonderful, Dad played piano, Elise read a scripture, Uncle Gary talked about Grandpas life. Most of you will get to hear that when we have the service in Bremerton next Saturday. Grandma planned on at most 75, but there had to be at least 200 people crammed in the church. It was so amazing to see how many people loved him, and Grandma. Really amazing. Although not hard to see why, they just don't get better than him...

Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Dean had previously made plans to go to a big event at the Elks club tonight, we decided to go anyways. Probably a dozen of us went in there and had a wonderful dinner, and again were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and respect for Grandpa. It was really an honor to be there on his behalf. And I'm sure he was glad we went instead of staying home being sad. So we've had a big day, full of remembering Grandpa!
