It's a Bomb, for real!

So I'm laying in bed sound asleep, after working last night. At 3PM my phone rings, showing its' Elise. I answer, but hear a male voice. My first sign something is wrong. Worse, or better? it's a police officer, with the Bomb Squad. Yes, my heart is pounding. He's standing with Elise at the corner of 15th and high, half a block from our house, also her school bus stop. He wants to know if he can let the kids through d/t the bomb that's been outside my house for 2 1/2 hours. What!!!!! I said I'd run out to get them. I do, no bra, no shoes, crazy bed head; my norm lol. There's a big black package acrross the street from our house, the street is blocked off, a little scary. After i woke up a little I realized if they thought it was a real danger we'd be evacuated, but still, when a man in a bomb suit walks in front of your house and uses Richard's work van for cover, who wouldn't be a little unnerved. So that's our drama for the day. And I want to be nominated for blog of the day please!

Of course I can't get flickr to make the slide show now that I have something way cool! So I posted a few pics for now, will try to change it tonight.

Mia's new chew toy

I was cleaning out our shelf where we keep pet food/treats and stuff. I found an old rawhide I had bought for Woody, our 65lb golden lab. We gave it to Mia, it's longer than her! So cute tho.

Who's Jealous!

I know my whole family is green with envy, here's my new tattoo. Not the spider, but the band below it! Anyway, I love it, Richard tolerates it.

Daddy's New Toy

This is Daddy's new ride, we've been getting by with one car, but with his tax return it was time for another one. Two teens in sports, us working different shifts, definitely time for a second vehicle. So while he's enjoying the 'new car high', I'm suffering from 'i have to drive the old car blues.' lol. I guess even our old car with leather seats isn't all that bad.

Richard's Valentines Present

For Richard for Valentines day I've been trying to secretly get him tickets to WWE No Way Out. It was sold out, sold out, every day I looked, but kept saying to check back. So on Valentines day I thought i'd check one last time. Got 4 tickets, so we could bring the kids. Our seats were the first row off the ground! We kept saying they'd ask us to move, we must have the wrong seats. We were so close it was amazing! We were technically row 4, but the first 3 were blocked off, so we were high enough up to see, but no one in front of us. The pyros were so close they were scary, we could feel the heat off of them. Basically, it was pretty cool, even for me, a non-fan. I think we're all hooked now. The whole way there we had Daniel convinced we were going to see the Lion King, so he was pretty excited when he saw what we were actually going to see.

Daniel's 13th Birthday

For Daniel's 13th, we started out at his favorite restaurant, Azteca. Of course since it was his birthday he got hte sombrero and a 'happy birthday' serenade. Doesn't he look happy about it! Then we went on to Skateland where his friends met us for more partying. He got to open his presents there. Grandma & Grandpa Greene and Grandma and Grandpa Sherman came. Plus Theresa (8.75months pregnant) and Josh with their kids. Janice and Michael came too, so we had lots of fun! The more family, the more fun! After the hokey pokey Janice dedicated a special song to Daniel, 'Barbie Girl.' He didn't think it was near as funny as we did, but it really was! Now he's officially a teenager, uh oh.

Valentines Day

No, not my pics, but they are of where we went. We started Valentines at Gino, kinda a long story to how I got there. Basically Richard had my whole family set to surprise me there last year for my bday, like 15 people or so. I didn't find out about it till after I broke up with him right before my birthday. Most of you remember the big brain fart I had. Of course we all now know I came to my senses, did lots of begging and he took me back. So he pretty much vowed to never take me there. But guess what! I got to go. Then what, 1-they lost our reservation, seated us anyways, 2-it was so cold I had goosebumps on my arms the whole time! and I don't usually get cold (plenty of fluff) 3-the ravioli I ordered was so dry, pasty wise, that I left hungry, 4-no tp in the bathroom! So we lived and learned. But the view was beautiful, right on the water. And the waitress and strawberry lemonade was great.
Then off to the jacuzzi suite, don't worry guys. We basically thought it felt so good to relax in the jacuzzi and watch tv with no kids or dog, that was about it! Very nice room in Bremerton, 100 bucks/night, very nice, very affordable.

Wonder Hanger

In case any one out there thinks during an informercial "who orders this crap?" The answer is me. Yes, we thougth it would help out our over full closet. You can see the below and after. I'm not sure there's much difference, plus I threw an entire large garbage bag to donate. Not sure how 'wonder' it is, but next I'm gonna get the 'slap chop', looks really cool!

Daniel's first basket ball game

He is number 22, this is his first game. First half they stayed even, but the second half they fell behind by 20 points! Oh well. They played good. And Elise and Monica looked good too!
