Our Big Day

We had a lot planned for Saturday. Started at 9AM with Daniels bowling league, then Elise's soccer game, Michael's football game, and Mason's football game. After all that we headed to Andrea's house (Richards mom) for her birthday party. Of course that morning I turned on my camera to make sure my battery was charged, it showed it was. Then the first time I turned it on to use it, the battery light was blinking! How wrong.
At Masons football game Richard volunteered, so in the one shot, if you look far away you can see him on the other side holding up something, a very important piece of equipment with numbers on it that keep changing. There's also a pic of something I've never seen before, Richard and Daniel playing catch, that was sweet. No. 51 is Mason, he only got to play for 5 minutes of his entire 2 hour game, so I was bummed about that, but took a pic of how I saw him most the time. haha.

Theresa, her kids, us and Dad went to the d-derby last night, I put a pic of one of their security guards in. Another one was wearing flip flops, very intimidating.

Kitsap Fair '09

We made it to the fair, barely... They close at 6 on Sunday, we didn't know, got there at 1, but ended up staying to eat till almost 7. Fair food, ahhh. Notice the fries and how much grease is in the bottom of it, and the deep fried twinkie, wasn't very good, but had to try it. Greg and Michael came with us, we all had free tickets and free parking passes, so all we had to buy was food and rides!

daddy and kids day

hi there,
this is richard for a change. i have been given blog duty for the day. so the kids and I went to miniature golf in bremerton on sunday.
it was a really good time. (at least i think they had a good time.) so through the first 9 holes it was a real blow out as daniel and i were tied and lil leesie was behind by 8 shots. she started out pretty slow then got the hang of it. as she was getting the hang of it daniel began losing his touch and his lead little by little.
At the end of 18 holes what a turn around. daniel had stalled and elise won the last hole by 2 shots to beat daniel by one shot overall.
then as an extra added little something we went to dq for some ice cream.

wedding dresses

So here they are, the one with red is my number one choice, for my wedding the red would be black, and Elise's dresses gold/champagne. I did put up a pic of my runner up dress cause I really like it too. Of course mine would also be a little shorter, lol. After looking at them I'm torn. I like the first one, but I'm afraid the 2nd one looks better on me. Argh!

Spongebob Squarepants Employee of the Month

2 employees starting taking our pics and some info about us, then every month it would rotate whose pic was up. Well, when mine went up, one employee went out on leave from an on the job injury and the other one quit, so i've had my pic up for at least 4 months now, it's really kind of ridiculous. A co-worder brought in the spongebob pic, it's him in a frame that says 'employee of the month', so I figure that makes me the Spongebob Employee of the month!

Daniels bowling league

Daniel and Richard were in a bowling league this summer, father/son. Sunday was the last night so Daniel got a trophie and certificate. I always offer to fill in for either one of them ,but I guess my 60 average doesn't seem helpful to the 'expert' bowlers. Oh well. Elise and I are happy to go and eat cheese sticks and drink the dew.

Work party

A few of us at work decided we wanted to go out with out spouses, started with 2 of us, ended up a lot more, which was fine with me. The more the merrier. It's always interesting to see these spouses that we all hear so much about (in a good way!). Richard found his new BFFE quick enough. Jessica, one of the day CNA"s husband is from Louisiana, so him and Richard hit it off quick. And I'm sure we all remember that most people from Lousiana talk real loud and alot (maybe a little stereotype), so we put them at the end of the table. I don't think he knew I existed the whole dinner, but he was happy and I had plenty of friends to talk to. It was very cute.

Okay family (girls), here's the spot. Now we got to start brainstorming what we're gonna do with it. The one pic shows a path, then in the back to the left is a cabin we get to rent with it that we can use to get ready for the wedding in, then we're gonna stay in for the night. The covered area is right outside the door of our place. THen there's an inside pic.

Dawn Lake '09

These are a few pics of us at the lake, Ivy took better ones, but here's a few for now. Ivy, Thelma, Mason, Asher, Cooper, Theresa, Monroe, Eve, Clara, Daniel, Monica and me all went. 3 cars worth. For most the time we were the only ones there! Pays to know the secret lakes. Moohahaha.

Football Camp '09

Daniel did football camp this week, getting ready for his first year of school football. Mason went too, so that was fun. It was also the hottest week of the year, broke records like every day. So they're braver than me!
