Dawn Lake '09

These are a few pics of us at the lake, Ivy took better ones, but here's a few for now. Ivy, Thelma, Mason, Asher, Cooper, Theresa, Monroe, Eve, Clara, Daniel, Monica and me all went. 3 cars worth. For most the time we were the only ones there! Pays to know the secret lakes. Moohahaha.

Football Camp '09

Daniel did football camp this week, getting ready for his first year of school football. Mason went too, so that was fun. It was also the hottest week of the year, broke records like every day. So they're braver than me!

Our vaca!

We got back yesterday from our trip at the ocean. Of course we all had a great time. Rick took most the pics, hopefully I'll get to see them soon. Here's a few though.

Our day with Grandma at the Boardwalk.

we got to spend some time with Grandma today. We took her down to the boardwalk, got fish'n chips and found a table to sit at. It was very nice, very relaxing. Starting about 2:30, an entire large weddign party started to gather, so the next few hours we watched them all come and go in their beautiful dresses and tuxes. We decided we had to stay till 5 to watch the bride walk down the aisle, of course she was in a beautiful gown. The whole after noon was one of the nicest we've had in a long time, the weather was perfect, slight breeze, good conversation. Now today (Sunday) we head out to the ocean after church. Rick is cooking our first dinner, actually smoking some pork, so that will be so nice! Get out there and not have to cook, and have a super good homemade meal. Life doesn't get better!

Homemade mac'n Cheese. Jealous Rick? Hmm.

Not much going on today, kids did chores, had them checked, redid them, had them checked, redid them, etc, etc. Finally got through those. I beat both kids at Monopoly cardgame, then made some dinner, homemade mac'n cheese, Greene style. Oh soooooo good. And enough left overs for work tonight, and to fry up tomorrow.

Richard's 35th birthday.

For Richard's 35th birthday him and I went and had breakfast at IHOP, they gave him a mousse for his birthday. On a normal day they sing to you, but our waiter said the other staff wouldnt cooperate- GRUMPY! But he enjoyed it anyways, even without the singing.

Then he picked the dinner spot, he wanted to do something with his sister since she wouldn't be there for his party, and out of niceness we let his parents come too, lol. I got the same thing I order at the Boatshed, only is was 100X better. Then you know how that goes, we all eat way too much! Elise tried clams for the first time, ended up eating a bunch (Gross!). He got a few presents there, will get the rest at his party at the Ocean. I just learned last football season that both teams don't have a quarterback on the field at the same time, but for some reason I can still get him some good football presents. I'm thinking dumb luck.
